Zydron is a Vex Gate Lord and the boss of the story mission Eye of a Gate Lord.
History
Zydron once protected a large Vex gate in the Endless Steps[1] and was believed by Warlock scholars to have regulated Venus's transfer gates.[2]
A Guardian destroyed Zydron and brought its head to Queen Mara Sov and her brother Uldren Sov. They recovered Zydron's eye from his head and gave it back to the Guardian.[3] The Guardian charged the eye and used it to enter the Black Garden.[4]
