So after a long and highly anticipated wait, Destiny is finally here! There's going to be a lot of work to do on the wiki over the next few weeks as we transfer the awesome information of our own adventures onto here so others can follow our guardian's tracks in games. But before that, let's celebrate this massive accomplishment for Bungie and welcome a new era in first person shooters! How many of you picked p your copy of Destiny at release, and what edition did you get?
I went to the midnight release at my local EBGames and waited in line for two hours while they processed Platinum membership first. I finally got my standard edition at about 2:45am and was back home playing at 3:00am. It's now 1:06pm, and I haven't stopped playing since I got it.
I don't know about sub classes, but I know you can use any weapon of your choosing regardless of class. I would highly suggest you run Titan if you're on the fence. The servers are crowded with Hunters so everyone could use your Titan skills for harder missions and the like.
Could you maybe also tell me the pros and cons of warlock? I'm considering that too. When I play call of duty, I always go in the assault rifles, light machine guns, sub machine guns, or shotguns, I suck at sniping. I like to wander around the map in pvp, and kill whoever I find. That's most likely what my playing style is. It matches Titan the best. But, what do you think?
I'm playing Destiny once a week at my friends house as a Hunter. But when I get Destiny, which I'm planning on getting it at the right time (I've planned out the best time to buy it), when all the Comet expansions are released. And I'm choosing Warlock, cause you can never doubt a space wizard :D.
Playstation Plus isn't required for Ps4, only for fireteams in the Crucible and Strike/Raids. You can play the game fine without it. And if only one account on your Ps4 has Playstation Plus, then everyone on that Ps4 can play the Crucible, Strikes, and Raids.
