Plasteel Plating is a Titan-exclusive material in Destiny. It can be obtained by dismantling uncommon or higher rarity Titan armor. Plasteel Plating is used to upgrade rare or higher Titan armor.
After the release of The Taken King, these materials were no longer used and were replaced by Armor Materials. Guardians' existing Plasteel Plating can be traded for Armor Materials by Roni 55-30.[1]
