We do have a Moderators policy page, but I'm not sure if the permissions have been set up properly. Given your edit count, I'm sure you more than qualify. Let me talk it over with T3CHNOCIDE and get back to you.
The information you changed isn't true now either. The digital download of the expansion by itself did not now or ever include the previous two expansions on either platform. You are probably conflating it with the Legendary Edition, which does include the base game and expansions and is available on both platforms.
The only thing that's changed since original release is the price. So if you wanted to add the new price, go ahead. But per our Citation Policy, be sure to add a citation with a link to a source.
I inquire about a particular coding this wiki has: when hovering some links a pop-up image or infobox of some sort previews a small bit of infomation of the page that link leads too. I wish to add that stylish code into my wiki as well, if it's possible that I have such permission from you
I'm reaching out to you about an experiment FANDOM will soon start in Discussions for some wikis, including this one. You're not just an admin here, but also the most active moderator in this wiki's Discussions, so this is most relevant to you - but please feel free to pass this info on to anyone else on the wiki who should know about this.
Toward the end of the month, we will start cross-posting Destiny-related editorial (fandom.com) content in Discussions. This is the first step in seeing how we can integrate something Discussions-like into the editorial area -- there might eventually be a "comments" section on those articles, but there are other possibilities too. Seeing how the users in Discussions react and reply (or not) is part of how we'll learn what works.
This will be done in an automated way, so things that you see on http://fandom.wikia.com/topics/destiny will get posted in Discussions. They will be attributed to either one of our editors or to the actual author of the article (if it's a FANDOM original).
We have a special request, and please pass this on to any other moderators, too: We ask that you don't edit or delete the posts, because we want to see how users will react to them, and altering them might skew the results.
Most likely, these posts will all appear in "General" by default. From there, you're welcome to re-categorize them, if they fit better into one of the other categories.
Let me know what you think about all of this, if you have questions, concerns, etc.!
I'm not trying to be a pest, but the information I was posting on the Siege Dancers was true. I understand that Kandorak and the Venom of Oryx is up to speculation but again, I based it off of solid ground eveidence. I did research these topics that I attempted to post on. While I understand about Kandorak and the Venom of Oryx being questionable. The Siege Dancers and all the information and pictures I posted or attempted to post of them was all real. It was all factual. If you don't believe me you can read it yourself in the Grimoire or listen to My Name is Byf's indepth look at the Cabal in his 'extra lore' series. Everything about them was true. I wouldn't have attempted to post it if it were false because I take Destiny so seriously and want to get the information correct.
If the information is correct, then you should be able to specify where it came from. If it came from a Grimoire card or story mission, that's fine, but My Name is Byf is not a reliable source. You can avoid people second-guessing your information by adding citations to your sources, but the sources must be reliable (i.e. from the game itself, from Bungie, etc.).
Some of the things I considered "made-up" are:
"Possibly one of the most feared legions of the Cabal" - says who?
"the Cerberus Vae III Imperial Land Tank, which is a massive mobile fortress capable of carrying the entire legion" - where is this stated?
"Their numbers aren't as massive as that of the Sand Eaters" - where was the numbers comparison stated?
"When the Siege Dancers have secured a location they will stay within the area of interest and not break off from the area" - where is this stated?
Let me know if you have any questions or need assistance adding citations; I'll be happy to help!
Thank you. I'm sorry for causing any trouble for the site. I thank you for telling me my mistake and I'll do everything in my power to make sure it never happens again. I hope I haven't caused any problems and I'll make sure to have reliable sources for anything I try to post. I apologize again for any trouble I may have caused.
Nice! Not sure what the policy is for removing the beta marker. Probably best to have it, just in case there are changes in the final version.
Hmm... Think I will add a 'Destiny 2 Beta' option to 'Announcement'->'Promotional Event'. Makes it easier to track beta content that way...
Should be easy enough to make articles for them. Special:Upload should be good to go as well. (let me know if it misses any required gear types). Weapon articles may be harder, depends on how the infobox handles overrides.
If there are any suggestions for what would make for a good auto-categorising bulk upload tool, let me know. I might be able to put something together for the full release (which will bring a flood of content).
We've got about 50 screenshots for Destiny 2 from this year's E3. I can't imagine you'd want them all dumped on that page; I've done my best to spread around the concept art, but I'm not familiar enough with the game to figure out what's in the screenshots.
At the very least I could upload them to my profile page if you'd like to look through them. Let me know ;)
