As you might be aware the Destiny wiki has its own dedicated game guide app outside of our all-inclusive games app. To help promote it, we were wondering if you might be willing to have a badge placed on the main page of the site? It is 300x136 and would sit in the top of the right rail, or close to it. It would link to both the Google Play and Apple Store versions of the app.
Hey T3CH, quick question. Do you mind if I pop in the recent Fannotated Trailer into the featured video slot on the mainpage? I realized it's probably not getting much attention from random viewers stuck away in that blog of mine.
Hey, you seem to know a bit about coding for wikia, which is HTML based. Do you know a lot about HTML coding, because I have no clue, and the internet is not a very good teacher (atleast to me). Could you maybe gie me a few tips, pointers and the basics of it? I'm trying to start up my own website, but I can't do HTML. Thanks.
I remember the wiki when it was still "Destiny Wiki"; I must say, it was much better then than it is now. It had proper references, top-notch images, better infobox templates, proper categorization, etc. (and I do mean "etc.", as there are a lot of other problems I see that I didn't see prior to the merger).
Can't tell if you're a troll, or just an idiot, but with that vandalism record, I'm guessing it's the former. Still, you have a problem with this wiki, you should try and help out, you ungrateful douchebag. We are trying to give the fans information on a game that isn't even out yet, so no, our wiki isn't going to be the best. Not yet. But instead of complaining about what we SHOULD be, you should try and fix it. And by the way, we have great images, great categorization, proper references, and good enough templates to get our information shown. Peace.
Both of you are ignorant fools, as I didn't see either of you editing on the "Destiny Wiki" prior to the merger. And no, I'm not a troll and I didn't vandalize the Revelation wiki (I don't even know what that wiki is about).
Protip: don't jump into a conversation that you have no knowledge of; It makes you look ignorant and immature.
Now, please keep your ignorant comments to yourselves, and let T3CHNOCIDE answer.
This isn't my wiki :) Destinypedia is a community based website, it belongs to all the Destiny fans. Also I prefer the wiki like this, the quality is much higher, and it's nicer with a larger community.
Please see my edit here to view the problem. When using the 'Reference' button on the right of the edit screen (source mode) some things are wrongly put into the template. ('Title' in 'Year' and 'Year' in 'Publisher')
I can't make heads or tails about the template so I hope you could change it.
Thanks for the heads up. This is T3CHNOCIDE's template; until he has a chance to look at it, it may be best to just use source mode for referencing. You can use Help:Citation Templates for easy copy-pasting.
Currently due to the smaller size of the wiki our admin quota is filled. However we'll be looking for more admins in the near future, so stick around and help us maintain the wiki and community, and no doubt you'll be made a candidate :)
Okay, to put this simply, I need help. I have noticed that you are a fan of Bungie related games (obviously) and I was wondering if you could come and help me out on the Bungie Fanon Wiki. Just before you say anything, yes, I am telling you this because you are an admin on this wiki. By the way, I don't mean to sound rude by saying that. Now, if you want to help me out, you can. If you don't, then don't. It's entirely up to you.
If you don't wish to help me out, is it possible that you could point me in the right direction as to what to do to get users and helpers?
I just wanted to let you know that your Wikia community was chosen to be part of an experiment in which an app dedicated to your wikia would be released. You won't have to any more than what you've done for Game Guides. Just keep up the good work and we'll see how this goes.
If you're curious, the app will be available tonomorrow on the Android store and will be available in iOS as soon as Apple approves the app.
Oh cool. If there's anything you would like us to do to help improve the experience or ease of app creation for your techs let us no. Any thoughts on Windows? I'm going to assume no because the % is low, but worth an ask anyway haha.
