― In-game description

Make the Vanguard Smile is a quest obtained from Amanda Holliday in The Taken King expansion. It ultimately rewards the legendary Sparrow SR-0 Swiftriver.

After the quest is completed, the Sparrow can be upgraded to SR-1 Swiftriver by completing the subsequent quests Impress Lord Shaxx and A Nod from Cayde.

Step One

	Prove Yourself Through Energy Bursts
	"Complete Energy Burst patrol missions. Reach Overcharge 3 on an Energy Burst patrol." Objectives: 3 Energy Burst patrols completed Overcharge 3 reached

Step Two

	Prove Yourself in Rasputin's Bunker
	"Destroy Shanks and eliminate the S.A.B.E.R.-2. Complete the strike "Fallen S.A.B.E.R." in the time allotted." Objectives: Destroy 8 Sniper Shanks Destroy Fallen S.A.B.E.R.

	Talk to Amanda

• Make the Vanguard Smile was initially only available to players who redeemed codes from special edition Destiny Red Bull cans. It became available to everyone on January 1, 2016.
