A Ketch is a Fallen ship, often used to pillage the planets once owned by humanity before the Collapse. Ketches are presumably equipped with their own jump drives to traverse long distances in relatively short amounts of time. They appear to be as large or larger than some colony ships with enough room to hold several Fallen Skiffs.
The Awoken fleet that was led by Mara Sov against Oryx, the Taken King was composed of many former Wolf Ketches. While they destroyed or damaged much of the Hive battlegroup, the Dreadnaught itself remained undamaged, and proceeded to destroy them.
