Jason Jones is the one of the co-founders of Bungie (along with Alex Seropian, who left Bungie in 2004) and a legend in the video game development industry.[1][2] He is Bungie's leading visionary and the creator of some of the most popular video games of all time, including among others the Halo series.[1]

Jones is the Project Director of Destiny.[1][2]

Jones has appeared so infrequently in public and the media that he has developed a reputation as reclusive.[1] Nevertheless, he has been described as friendly and personable, and has been willing and open to talk about game development whenever he does do interviews.[1][2]

Jones was named to TIME Magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in 2005,[3] and has frequently been named in lists of the greatest video game developers ever.[4][5][6]
