Invective is an exotic shotgun^[1][2] that deals solar damage. It is the reward for completing the exotic bounty A Dubious Task.

EffectsEdit

• Solar Damage: This weapon causes solar damage.
• Full Auto: This weapon can be fired in a full auto mode.

UpgradesEdit

• Accurized Ballistics: More range and impact. Increased recoil.
  • Field Choke: More range and impact. Increased recoil.
  • Linear Compensator: More predictable recoil. Slight boosts to range and impact.
• Final Round: The last round in a magazine deals bonus damage.
• Upgrade Damage: Increases Attack Power, allowing this weapon to cause more damage.
• Quickdraw: This weapon can be drawn unbelievably fast.
  • Fitted Stock: Increases weapon stability.
  • Send It: Increases Range and Accuracy.

TriviaEdit

• The Invective upgrade generates four shells every twenty seconds. The shells are delivered to the player's reserve ammo and the weapon must be reloaded to use them.
• Although Invective is capable of fully automatic fire, it should be noted that it has heavy recoil, even by shotgun standards. Because of this, it is recommended to only go "full auto" when aiming at a large target and/or at point blank range.
• On December 1, 2014, Invective received a buff that decreased the reload time from 5.75 seconds to 3.75 seconds at the cost of a reduction in the rate of fire.^[3]
