Trivia

  • "Comet" was the code name given to major expansion packs for games in the Destiny series in the Bungie-Activision Contract.[1] According to the contract, each "Comet" would be available for download within twelve months of the preceding game's release, with one Comet being created per game, giving a total of four planned "Comets."
  • Rise of Iron is the first expansion that will be exclusively available to current-generation consoles (Xbox One and PlayStation 4) and will be excluding last-generation consoles.
