Remember, it is your responsibility as a user of the wiki to read, understand, and follow Destiny Wiki policies. When in doubt, ask an Administrator!

Assuming good faith is a fundamental practice on wikis, which is necessary for introducing and maintaining editors. The practice stipulates that editors should assume that all edits, including ones of poor equality, were made in good faith with the intention of improving the wiki and not to cause vandalism, unless the editor has shown sufficient venom to suggest otherwise. It can take time and practice in order for new editors to gain the experience needed to edit at a sufficient quality which the wiki expects, and therefore new editors should be commended for their contributions and politely guided into making more improved edits with a talk page message highlighting their errors and linking the needed policy and help pages; and should never be attacked or rudely approached for their editing errors.

Exceptions to the rule do exist where editors have shown a persistently poor editing history despite multiple interventions and warnings, or where an editor’s contributions contain content of sufficient venom or vulgarity to be considered serious vandalism. In these cases, editors should report the user to a local administrator and not engage the user any further.
