Crux of Crota is a material obtained from beating Crota's End on Hard. It is used to upgrade Eidolon Ally to Necrochasm. In order to obtain the Crux of Crota first, you need the Eidolon Ally upgraded up to the point of needing the Crux of Crota. Second, beat crota with the almost fully upgraded Eidolon Ally equiped.
